Sofia Hagstrom

Taking inspiration from the light coming thru the branches in a forest, I experimented with the atmosphere in large rooms constructed with glass ceilings. The combination between the colours and the patterns in the weave produce a different experience for the people in the room.
The textiles are woven in modules that are put together to create at pattern on the ceiling. The materials are coloured plastics that allow light to pass thru.

The project was on exhibit in Copenhagen, winter 2004
