Sofia Hagstrom

This project is based on the traditions in the Christian church, where I have worked with textiles for the priest garments. The textiles are made for a specific church in Copenhagen, which has inspired the expression in the textile.
The textile is a weave, and my choice of material is wool for the matte parts and silk for the shiny parts. The colour palette is white, red, green and purple. These are the four colours that are used during the year in the Christian church. I have therefore dyed my fabrics into these colours.
